Victor Love

CEO & Founder of Evolv Atlanta Founder

Victor Love is a native of Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. He fell in love with acting at an early age. He is no stranger to the entertainment industry, having spent 30+ years as an Actor prior to starting EVOLV ATLANTA. Love received his AA at the prestigious Los Angeles Theater Academy and MFA at the Professional Actor’s Training Program in Milwaukee, now located in Delaware. He completed the Meisner Technique with Bill Esper in New York and the Chubbuck Technique with Ivana Chubbuck in Los Angeles. He also trained with Tadashi Suzuki in Japan. Victor had speech training with the legendary Edith Skinner and Timothy Monich. His classical training included stints with Shakespeare and Company.

Victor Love achieved international attention for his debut role as Bigger Thomas in the 1987 film adaptation of Richard Wright’s novel NATIVE SON. His co-stars included Oprah Winfrey, Geraldine Page, Matt Dillon and Elizabeth McGovern. He was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Actor in his first film, Native Son. He continued his career with several TV and film roles: It’s My Party, Gang Related, Velocity Trap, The Hank Gathers Story, Jaded, Mr. Payback, Heaven is a Playground, Miami Vice, A Different World, LA Law, Babylon 5, West Wing, and many others.

Victor recently had a recurring role on RED Band Society. He is an active member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA. Most recently he has completed filming RED ALL OVER and is preparing to film THE OLIVE BRANCH (with Louis Gossett Jr.). He is the Managing Director and Master Instructor of the EVOLV ATLANTA ACTING studio in Atlanta, Georgia USA, where he teaches acting and scene study for stage and film, as well as the private acting coach for Internationally respected talent.

Mr. Love knows what a working actor needs to make it in this competitive world and he is uniquely qualified to give his knowledge and expertise to his actors.

AJ Jones

CEO & Co-Founder of Nova House

AJ began acting in Orlando, Florida, with Yvonne Suhor at Art’s Sake Studios. He then moved to Los Angeles to study at Playhouse West and the Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio. He quickly found success and the opportunity to further his craft in the Los Angeles theatre scene, earning an LA Weekly Award nomination as a member of the cast of “What’s Wrong With Angry?” at the Celebration Theatre. As part of the cast of “NO HOMO”, he won a “Best in Ensemble Theatre” Award at the Hollywood Fringe Theatre Festival, and performed at the Players Theatre in New York City as a part of Fringe NYC. He has been written about for his work in Backstage Magazine, LA Weekly, Broadway World, and the Los Angeles Times. He made his Equity debut with the Cygnet Theatre in San Diego, before moving to Atlanta to focus on film and TV.

In his short time in Atlanta, AJ has quickly gained consistent work in television and commercials, most recently on “Being Mary Jane” and a test for the upcoming series “The Liberator” on The History Channel. He has a passion for building community and loves putting actors on tape. He can’t wait to make Nova House the place where he can do both. Whether you want a good amount of coaching, or none at all, AJ is great at working with any style of actor, and will help you get your best takes with his relaxed, easy-going style.

Michael Finn

Chief Creative Director & Co-Founder of Nova House

Michael is a versatile film and stage actor, known to bring an endless energy, unique ideas, and a high level of professionalism to any set. He constantly works to hone his craft, looking forward to the challenges and projects ahead of him. Michael has recently concluded the national tour of Set It Off, in which he played Detective Strode, and can also be seen in episode 4 of Black Lightning.

Born and raised in Toms River, NJ, Michael began his foray into the arts by becoming a drummer, but it wasn’t until high school that he discovered his love for acting. He pursued his passion, obtaining a B.F.A. in acting from Montclair State University, and continued to follow his passion to New York, which he called home for many years. Currently located in Atlanta, he looks forward to taking his career to the next level.

Working as both an actor and an award-winning filmmaker, Michael is constantly challenging himself by finding new projects, reading new scripts, or writing his own. Michael is also a teacher at Premier Actor’s Network and an acting coach. He enjoys using his skill set to help actors give their best performance for auditions and productions. Full of drive, ambition, and humor (with a touch of sarcasm), he loves to push limits, erase boundaries, create amazing art, and help people reach new heights. He embraces any chance to work with people who do the same.

Gillian Fitzgerald

Chief Operating Officer of Evolv Atlanta & Nova House

Gillian Fitzgerald is a powerhouse when it comes to administration and organization. At the age of 21 she started working as a Personal Assistant to an improv entertainer and tv personality in Los Angeles where she got her feet wet in the West Coast Entertainment Industry. From there she came back to the East Coast to spend 2 years in Nashville where she quickly climbed the corporate ladder for The Murder Mystery Company, the world’s third largest theater company. She has spent the past 3 years working as the National Regional Manager, overseeing 25 Directors, 5 Regional Directors, and over 1000 actors. Her passion to give back to the acting community is what lead her to Nova House & Evolv Atlanta. Gillian cannot wait to contribute to the fast growing community of actors here in Atlanta.
